Secondary Public Speakers

Comprising three parent volunteers representing Primary, Collège and Lycée, this group works to provide cultural events for the pupils. We are financed by funds raised by the parents at the Christmas and Summer Fêtes. Our flagship project is the visiting speakers programme, where our role is to provide support to the school librarian, Hilary Moser.  So far we have welcomed the authors Mal Peet, Griselda Gifford, the poet Simon Armitage and the former European politician Anita Pollack to the school. The group has also organised guided historical tours on the theme of the French Revolution to Seconde pupils in Paris.
