Our Mission
This central fact about the school was the natural starting point for our own mission statement in the British Section, which reads as follows:
We strive to provide a bilingual and bicultural education for our pupils and to ensure that they develop an affinity for each of the two cultures and a clear sense of their own identities within them. While aiming for excellence, we wish all our pupils to fulfil their academic and personal potential in all areas of school life, acquiring a life long love of learning and an independent, enquiring mind. The British Section believes it has a pastoral role and seeks opportunities to discuss with its pupils appropriate moral and ethical issues. Within an international environment, we aim to help the pupils grow in self-esteem and to promote a genuine respect for others.
