What is the BSPA
The British Section Parents Association (BSPA) – as an Association operating under the French law of July 1901 - is the non-profit making body representing all families that have children in the British Section.
If you have children - full time or externé - in BS classes on any of the five BS sites, you are automatically a member of the BSPA. There are currently 527 member families representing 820 children aged 3 - 18.
What does the BSPA do?

Raises funds from parents, via annual cotisations fixed by the Governing Body, in order to:
- pay British Section teachers, librarians and administrative staff
- buy certain teaching equipment, books and information technology, finance certain activities -
Recruits British Section teachers, librarians and administrative staff

Agrees, in discussion with the Head and senior management team, the Section's main goals

Represents the interests of its members with local municipalities and the French administration in the schools where the British Section is present

Organises extra-curricular activities which serve the general interests of British Section pupils at all sites

Facilitates contact between parent members
The role of the BSPA is strictly defined by its Statutes and Reglement Interieur
